Your potting mix looks bone dry to me. Yes to watering and yes to dilute MG.

There was a little white mold on the soil. Hard to see in the pics. So just pull the roots up? No worries damaging the roots?

Soil isn't too dry. They were due to be watered though. Plants have looked like This for at least 2 weeks despite watering.

Do you know how to unpot a plant? It should be damp. Turn it upside down while holding the plant between the fingers of your left hand. Thump the bottom of the pot hard to release it. Now you can lay it down and poke around to see what's up.

Looks like that soil is fresh... after sitting around and being watered after a few weeks, the soil would not appear like that. Were they just transplanted?

"Plants"? plural or just this one as you first indicated?

If it is multiple plants like this then something is wrong with your growing methods and we'd need all the details on it to figure out what is wrong.

If it is just this plant and it has been like this for 2 weeks then it is time to pitch this plant. Look at the plant stem right at and just above the soil line. Is it pinched in and a darker color? If so then the problem is the fungus disease damp-off. Plants do not recover from damp-off.

White fibrous mold growing on the soil surface is a result of over-watering and poor air circulation in the growing area.

Lastly if other plants appear healthy and have at least 1 set of true leaves then, yes it is time to start feeding them a very weak diluted fertilizer. Plants need feeding once they develop true leaves.

It's only 2 of my 4 opalkas that look like this (but 1 of the other opalkas is only 2 weeks old). The rest of the tomatoes and peppers (~25 total), are doing well.

I'm growing them in locked in my bathroom (to keep away from my cats), which is the first year I've done it in this location. I'm thinking it's to humid in there because I haven't been watering any more than I have in previous years.

Man, I just looked at my plants. My third opalka is starting to look the same. I don't see any dark spots at the stem base.

Looks to me that the stem, about an inch from the soil line, is shrunken and turned brown/woody. If so, then toss them out now.

Since Opalka carries the Wispy trait I wasn't too concerned about the original pictures, although they are a bit extreme with indicators of stunted growth. The latest photo is more problematic in that you likely have Damping Off and that plant will not fare well unless you cut the top off and reroot it soon.

I would get the plants out of the "Soup bowls" and repot in suitable plant pots with better drainage slits in base. Keeping soil moisture ideal is very difficult when pots are not suited for plants.
