Is that a 8' cement wall and 6' chain link in front or 6' and 4' ? If its a 6' Mango- then a few are a sure thing. If its a 4'..you will get some..but think about not letting it hold too many as that can stunt a small tree for a couple of years.

Its a choice people in California have to make with young Mango trees.

The mango is actually 51/2' tall. How many should I leave on? There are only 2 of us, so no need for more. I'd love to share with family and neighbors, but we can sure wait a year or two. Should I leave one per blossom cluster, or is that too many?

You probably won't get a choice. Most will fall off by themselves. Those usually start to turn a bit yellow.

Most will fall off..but you might see 10- 20 or so try to reach a decent size. When you see the tree looks a little Charlie Brown like weighted down..you might thin to the best half dozen or a few more. Small tree's tend to have half size fruit..but it still tastes great.

Water!..dont forget a little fertilizer also.

What I like about Mangoes is they get sweet in California. Some tropicals for me wont do that. Sugar Cane is fair,Papaya's are very,very, iffy..Mangoes are great!

Hi Suzi! I just planted a Valencia Pride here in Pomona, and curious how yours has fared over the years in SB? I had a very productive Manilla in East LA, but the climate is different out this way.
