Need help on how to prop up a divider in my bed room.
Hi! Im planning to install this divider in my bedroom. You might be wondering why exactly have I decided to do this. Well, first off, I wanted a closet in my room for my clothes,shoes and stuff. It doesn't necessarily have to be a walk-in closet but I choose this design mainly because I need my TV as close as possible to my bed.
I don't want to go into further detail about this TV thing but to cut it short, I am planning on getting a 43-50' 4k TV and based on my research I need it close as possible to me to be in "effective viewing range"
Anyway, it may look kinda silly to base my whole bedroom design just for a TV but this is really want I want.
So, my plan is to put up a divider either made of panels or a single whole piece overall.
I was hoping it to be glass but I think that's a little risky in terms of breaking it.
So, my options are either fiber glass, acrylic plastic or whatever that material they use in bathrooms. I wanted the texture to be smoked as well.
Another problem I have is what I should tell the carpenter on how to erect the the wall.
Should we bolt it to the wall or the ceiling? maybe just put some foot stand to make it prop-up? what would be a good way? i don't mind it being permanent but if ever I do decide to remove it, I'd like to avoid as much damage to the walls as possible.
What materials should I use? how should I make it stand? and in general, is this a possible idea to execute? I live in Philippines so there might be somethings that are not available at our local hardware store.
Lastly, this is what the placement is. I already spent hours figuring out the best layout and it has to be this. The placement of my computer is also important in terms of job, it can't be moved else where.

PS. Sliding is not an option, unfortunately due to space restrictions.

Or you could purchase a long low console for your t.v. and have your carpenter attach a backing to it made out of furniture grade plywood that can be trimmed and either painted or stained.

I followed what you said, but placed it on the other side. Does this seem too much of a clustered mess?

"I prefer the first layout but I worry that there's not enough room to move past the end of the bed in either case."
-- The first layout was really what I wanted but If I put the bed against the wall my girlfriend's going to have a hard time walking there to get on the bed, unless she crawls from my side which is what we were trying to avoid.
i'll try to do another layout with the old one since I realized this layout would be really cluttered. I visited the site earlier this morning and really pictured it out seemed waay too small for my 2nd layout unless maybe I get rid of the divider.
"so where are you putting your closet?"
-- That's the thing, I am going to sacrifice a closet for a drawer/dresser instead. It has a mini closer at one compartment but yea, that's the solution.
Here's a more updated layout. I realized my girlfriend asked for two windows.
to be honest I would like it that when I wake up, I don't see a wall too close to me immediately, its like being to confined, like a jail cell lol. If you know what I mean.
ill try a different layout and post it here.
