How about moving the vases, etc. off the floor & moving the sofa table from behind the sofa to the wall on the right ? Place a piece of art above it. I can't really see what the sofa table looks like from the picture.... that, or a chest could be placed there, fairly substantial since it's a large space.

Office? Storage?

I would nix the rug and add a long library table right down the center and add beautiful large vases of flowers under the chandeliers.....like this entry hall.

I love your gallery ideas but you need gallery sized art work I think....also ditch the rug....just put something by the front door for wet/muddy feet.

I'd remove the pieces from the floor such as the vases, lantern, etc... this room is too stunning. You can do a console table with lamps and some simple minimal decor on the top. Similar to the table above. The table in the center is a great idea... I don't know how I would feel walking around it all the time though.

I agree with the rest but instead of placing the console on the wall have it placed in the middle of the hall since your planning to add a gallery wall.

Consider repainting the ceiling to a color that complements the marble and walls. That will go a long way to helping make the light fixtures appear large enough for the hallway. Replace the sconces at the end with a larger selection

I would then select a pair of table and create an assembly of items. Could be a table with mirrors or art as a base.
