See if you can find double brackets....you will need only a center one....that holds the back sheers and the drapes. Now, to me your sheers look a little skimpy....are they? Might try another pair on if you get the center bracket. I feel that best of all you should shear your sheers on the rod....no rings. Leave the rings on your other curtains. Course your sheers would be hard to open then.....do whatever suits your family.

Since you are on a busy street, you might reconsider leaving only the shears up on a decorative rod without the rings. Keep them closed and see how that works for you and your family. No side panels. I get plenty of light with a little privacy also. Give it a try for a couple of days to see if you really need to open/close those shears. Good luck!!

1. If you are keeping the sheers open during the day, why not remove and just use the drapes (on rings). 2. If you want to open/close, remove the rings from the drapery. 3. The other idea is to just use one nice rod with sheers in the middle like the second picture with drapes, all on rings, but make sure the rod is substantial. I think you need a thicker rod for your drapes anyway. If the inside rod is bending, it's either too frail or not supported well enough.

I think the rod and rings are good but the sheers need replacing. Opt for a fabric with a little more weight and panels with pleats of some sort. See below for ideas!
