My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Kitchen countertop help

I am looking to replace the countertops in the kitchen of a house we will be purchasing this month. I love the look of marble (Calacutta Gold to be exact) but have decided with two children I just don't want to deal with it.

I have almost cherry color cabinets and hardwood flooring in the kitchen. The black appliances will be replaced with SS.

I think a light color countertop would be best. Suggestions welcomed.

I am liking Cambria Berwyn Quartz, White River Granite and Dolce Vita Granite. Any other suggestions are welcomed.

    I first saw my countertop on a display with a cabinet similar to yours. It is really hard to get an idea of colors on a computer, but it is a little lighter than then some of your examples and possibly warmer in tone.

    The last picture looks more gray - it changes a bit with lighting. It has white, cream, gray and a little beige in it.

    It is just one of many possibilities. Some of your samples are reading a bit cool to me for your warm cabinets - but as I said, computer monitors aren't true to color.
