Thank you for the Viatera White Pearl Photos! - We are going to use the Viatera white pearl for our kitchen countertops with existing red birch cabinets. Thanks for your photos - it was helpful to see large expanses of the surface in a real installation. Have you been pleased with the product thus far? We were looking for a color with some visual interest, but that wouldn't be too "busy" with a backsplash of 1x1 inch glass tiles. Your kitchen looks great!
I have been very happy with my White Pearl. While it has a lot of movement, when you step back it blends to a point of not being overwhelming. I have had mine three years - no stains, chips or other problems. I would recommend pairing it with a simple backsplash, especially if there is any grain or color variation adding movement to the wood cabinets - as I have with my oak. I always advise getting the backsplash installed and seeing the "big picture" - and living with it a few weeks before making a backsplash decision. I made a slight change on my choice of backsplash once the counters were installed - changed from white to cream subway tile based on seeing the big picture rather than small samples.
