Lighting for Kitchen Remodel

Working on finishing up my kitchen remodel. My cabinets will be white shaker with white subway tile (dark grout). My faucet is a vintage brass (https://www.wayfair.com/Kingston-Brass-Heritage-Double-Handle-Widespread-Kitchen-Faucet-with-Side-Spray-KBBB3665.html) and i have a pendent light over the sink that is aged brass with black shade (https://www.wayfair.com/Breakwater-Bay-Bowdoinham-1-Light-Mini-Pendant-BRWT2075.html).

I've been trying to find lighting for on the ceiling in the middle of the kitchen and over the breakfast table. Would like to find aged or vintage brass that is either flush or semi flush. I found these but wasn't sure if it would look good if i had too many "hanging" lights in the kitchen. Advice?

I would do a semi flush-mount over the sink, flush mount in the center and a pendant--larger than what you've chosen--over the table.

Since your ceiling looks pretty low and the room doesn't look like it gets much natural light, I'd look into something like this for the main ceiling fixture:

I could see schoolhouse pendants in brass in your space. Do you like schoolhouse style? You can get them in many sizes and hanging heights (flush, semi, pendant).

this would look great, give good light and blend with your other choices. Edison bulbs aren't particularly useful for light so be careful of choices with those.

Your remodel looks like it is on it's way! Lighting can always be a tricky detail to choose. I agree for the general lighting you are looking for something that will provide maximum light for the space. Consider a flush mount or semi-flush mount because it will provide more lighting to fill the space.

Also, have you considered under cabinet lighting? Create more light within your space by adding in lighting for your counter. Good luck!
