Hi everyone,

So I been lurking around and reading the many post about the 5:1:1 container mix and decided to experiment. I had some ingredient on hand and was missing the pine bark. I wonder if you can critique the small experimental mix i made.

So i have some perlite from previous mix i made, and i got some regular potting mix based on peat moss, and i got some pine bark mulch which was already shredded to almost good size.

Thank i mixed 5 part of the bark with the perlite and potting mix

The final Mix looks like this:

the pot on the left is not watered while on the right was after a cup of watering, the water drained very well and fast wonder if it is going to be a problem?
