I am trying to decide on which granite to use, either the New Venetian Gold or Santa Cecilia Light. We will have the maple Sedona cherry cabinets and a dark handscraped wood floor, so we wanted to do a light countertop. At first I thought the New Venetian Gold would look good and blend in really well, but the Santa Cecilia is lighter, but I don't know if it would blend in as well. What do you think?

Try Astoria if its available to you. It's a beautiful lighter counter and goes very nicely with darker cabinets. Do a search here on Houzz and you'll see some lovely pictures of it.

Santa Cecilia Classic. View the actual slab, Santa Cecilia can vary from lighter to darker veining, etc.
