Bathroom placement help

I have also posted in bathroom forum but no responses yet so trying here.

i am basically adding an ensuite and looking at either

a) Keeping current bedroom doorway and adding half bath or

b) making new entrance off kitchen diner and adding 3/4 bath.

This is an older small home with two bedrooms upstairs, combined kitchen diner, living room and main bathroom just remodelled.

I would like to add an ensuite bathroom and debating between adding a half bath which would keep the doorway to bedroom in same place or adding a 3/4 bath and changing the bedroom doorway entrance through diner part of kitchen, which is currently a closet. The area under the closet is an addition, unheated crawl space. (main part of house is over unfinished basement) There is a cold room that can't be changed 6' from long narrow bedroom south wall so plumbing can't go past that point,

I think it would be a little strange to have the bedroom entrance from kitchen diner but for resale think a 3/4 bath would be better. Any help or suggestions would be great.
