Exterior house colour assist

We have a two storey house (raised bungalow) in vinyl siding and board and batton. Could you suggest an exterior yellow that is not bright and too lemon? We originally were going to paint a green/black (dark) and I'm told vinyl siding cant take a dark colour.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Kellypotter, I also want to have my vinyl siding painted. I will be very interested to see Houzz comments/suggestions. I also read dark colors are tough to do on vinyl, yet why do both Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore have some dark colors in their line of paints specifically for vinyl siding??

Hi Judith, I just bought dark blackish green at Sherwin Williams - I have applied but I feel confident in the product.
