In a master bathroom Soapstone will hold up very well. If you plan on leaving it untreated (no mineral oil or wax) you will just end up cleaning with a degreaser like simple-green to remove hand oils etc. But you should apply a beeswax to act as a water repellent.

It's a high maintenance stone so if you are diligent about keeping it clean, you'll be fine. It'll show oil marks but in the end it's a very soft stone that works great in bathrooms.
