About Us

Specializing in residential design, Elizabeth’s youthful and energetic approach to her projects has resulted in award winning kitchen and baths, including her “Best in Design” and "Best in Customer Service" awards from Houzz.com, and regional design awards from the National Kitchen and Bath Association. She holds the Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer designation from the NKBA, the highest industry certification as well as a certification in aging-in-place design, where she can design spaces for homeowners with physical disabilities, or who hope to living in their home for the duration of their life. Her strengths include redesigning the footprint of a space, and focusing on the functionality and flow of the design. Elizabeth has an extensive background in the remodeling industry, as the Lead Designer for a highly regarded Design-Build firm, she achieved numerous certifications from national remodeling associations. She applies her construction knowledge and a masters degree in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver to her designs, resulting in completed projects that are not only inspiring and impactful, but practicable and obtainable. With an in-depth understanding of the construction industry, many clients use Elizabeth as a resource when reviewing estimates and remodeling contracts, as an owners representative. Elizabeth was a delight to work with, and we are extremely pleased with our new kitchen! Her extensive education and experience in design and construction management was clear from the very beginning. From start to finish, Elizabeth helped us every step of the way. Her eye for aesthetics, function, and architectural design resulted in brightening our old dark kitchen, seamlessly blending it with the rest of our 45-year-old home, and making it look intentional. The result is stunning, and we are impressed with how much more functional our remodeled kitchen is. All of this, combined with her excellent communication with us and the contractors, helped us feel much more relaxed and confident, instead of stressed. I have hesitated a long time to write a review of Elizabeth, because I have selfishly wanted to keep her like the best little secret, all to myself. She helped my husband and I with an extensive kitchen renovation and remodel in 2023-2024 and more recently with an upgrade to our guest bath, and I can say with certainty that there is NO ONE I would ever think to work with instead in the future. Our projects went as smoothly as they could have (there are always bumps and surprises, especially with a nearly 100-year-old home) thanks to her, and the final products were a beautiful reflection of our tastes, making our home feel even more like home. I cannot say enough kind things about her as a human, her work, her vision, her understanding of all aspects of the design and execution, her work ethic, her professionalism, etc, and neither can anyone else I speak with who knows her or has had the pleasure to work with her or alongside her on a project. She's really a gem.

Hiring Ellie was the smartest decision we made in our entire remodeling process. She was with us through every step, including thinking through the layout of several rooms, sharing what materials would be a good fit for our family and lifestyle, and providing guidance about placement of fixtures and hardware (among a million other things). One of the best things she does is narrow down the infinite number of choices so you don't waste brain energy on things that ultimately won't work or won't look good. Because Ellie understands all different styles of homes and what is authentic, your remodel or addition looks like it belongs with the rest of the house, rather than standing out as a "one-off" project. She stays on top of local and national advancements in design and can move effortlessly between traditional and modern styles (and everything in between). Even if you have a contractor you love, you still need Ellie. Elizabeth was a huge asset to our bathroom remodel. She worked with us closely to create a design that met our needs exactly. She shared her style sense and product knowledge with us and assisted in selecting everything we needed down to the last fan! Her specs were invaluable during the construction, nearly every question the contractor posed was easily answered by the design spec. She referred us to a known contractor who was very reliable and he ensured every detail was completed as we expected. I would call Elizabeth again for any project!
