Bump

I would consider a gray on the concrete and steps, the red around the window I consider either black or white, on the stone I do a different shade of grey. In the peak the red wood part I would go with a charcoal grey or replace it with a darker wood stain or cedar wood. Is your front door black or were you going to paint it? If you paint it I would do a darker turquoise or a lime green.

Sorry I forgot the yellow part I would do that the same grey as the concrete.

Hi Judy,

love your projects.. Just visited your page.

i assumed black went with everything. I agree there's too much going on. What do you think about covering the red paneling with wood the same colour as the bay window?

thanks for your advice

I'd eliminate the striped look. I'd start by painting the concrete the same color as the first row of brick/stone. Then I'd paint the wood to match the second row. If the yellow is stucco, then I'd paint it a creamy peach to match the stone.

It doesn't help that your pic shows the strong horizontal lines as listing to the right.

What material is on the sides and back of this house?

Honestly, I would prefer your house be one color.

Emmarene,

to answer your question it's all brick.
