I agree with lindsey for the same reason...if the match with the mortar is as close as it appears on the screen. I also just like the lighter color better.

The one on the right is Gentek-Pebble/kaki. (Spelling error above). I was leaning towards it too. The siding contractor said the same regarding the mortar. I've never heard of that before! I'll post a final pic when completed. (Oct. if not earlier). Thanks for your help.

The right one, 100%. It's pretty and it pops more against your brick. The left doesn't go as well with your door. Also, the left is browner and looks muddy to me. The right seems more of a neutral and crisp gray.

A note against a cream garage door -- I'd do it to match the siding (or even the darker color), since it's already in position to dominate your facade by extending in front!

Also confused as to why you want your front door to match the siding, rather than picking a contrasting color (which could even be your current color)...

Wow...it has taken me a long time to make a decision and just overnight I get positive responses. It's nice to be on the same page with everyone! :)

amc- I'm hoping not to paint the "vinyl" garage door. I'll wait and see.

The fascia, downpipes (gutters), soffit & eaves will be the same colour as the siding on the house. I've noticed many houses where I live with this done and I like the "continuous same colour" look. Of course, there are many houses with different subtle tones and contrasting colours but with my windows, garage & front door, I feel I have enough colours happening. The Pebble/Kaki "soffit" in the front entrance will compliment the front door.

So I'm thinking? ;)
