We are looking at doing something similar in my kitchen. At the far section will be a bank of drawers accessed from the backside of the peninsula and then the peninsula will recess in order to fit 2 stools. My understanding is that you need a minimum of 8 inches of depth to fit the stools. Can you tell me what the depth is in this picture?
