Agree.

You don't have to center it exactly. Due to having trim on one side only, it will never look perfectly centered. On the right your eye stops at the trim, but on the left your eye looks beyond the edge of the wall.

I would have someone hold it up and move it around. You can then choose the spot where it looks best, which might not be centered on any fixed item.

Can you case the left opening? I think it will make the wall more balanced and fits the feel of the house better. Then I would center the picture between casings.

Center it on the wall. My painting is hung in a similar space and we based center on the width of the area between the wall edge to left of the light switch and the edge of the shutter trim on the right.

Center of wall, as the others have said. I think, if you have it held on the wall, you will agree! Let us see it after hung, always like to see results of questions.

Maybe a Command hook will work for you in this situation. There is quite a selection in the Command line.

Can you use several heavy duty Command hooks or strips? I have hung many pictures and paintings with them. Never anything with a heavy frame.

I really wanted this project done tonight. Got to Loews 10 min before closing. These are 1/2 inch depth, perfect for my 5/8 inch drywall.
