Yeah, it sounds like he's whining that It's Hard -- you just need to build a framework to hold the end pipes at the point where they'll come out of the wall, and attach the flexible pipes to it. If he's not sure he's up to it, get another plumber with experience in for a consult or to handle this one job.

As for access panels, that's pretty much not possible with this kind of plumbing unless there's another room on the back side of the same wall. It's a disadvantage of wall-mounted plumbing; if you get a leak, you're usually tearing out the wall to fix things... Another reason to be sure it's done right!

This faucet did not come with a rough-in valve thus all the confusion. See below:

We have a floating shelf and a vessel sink, the only plumbing we are ok to be exposed is the p-trap.

do you know if those hoses came with the faucet or it's the plumber how added them? if they came with the faucet then this is a very poorly designed faucet, at all costs, don't use those braided steel hoses behind the wall, they are made for exposed installation only or with an access panel which is normally used for bathtubs. see if you can return the faucet and get one that has a solid brass body like in the picture I shared.

It came with the faucet (I think the faucet they sent me was a used faucet, can you see the teflon tape? - ridiculous. Never buy from Juno Showers!!!). Thank you so much for your input. I'll make sure every time I buy a wall-mounted faucet, it comes with a rough-in valve :)
