Nice looking range! You should probably have someone check out the wiring (or do it yourself if you know what you're doing). Yours is much simpler than the ones I've seen. I might guess 1960's?

Early 50's, RCA got out of the business in the mid 50"s. $100

I'll check the wires and make sure they're ok. Everything looks dead mint on.

In 1952, RCA purchased Estate Stove Company, in 1955, this division became part of Whirlpool.

In the olden days, RCA was an important business. Whirlpool was a division of an auto company.

"Whirlpool was a division of an auto company."

Umm ... no. Whirlpool was never a division of an automotive company.

I once had a GM stove similar in style to that but I think it was a Frigidaire. That stove is a beauty! I did love the outlets on the back which I'm sure are dangerous if used wrong but so perfect for the slowcooker...

If whirlpool was not owned by a auto company, then maybe it was Frigidaire.

I've seen a range made by GM and it was built like a tank. Good looking also.

Can't tell you what it's worth, but if you're really curious, or need info / manuals / leads on parts, you might find this site helpful - "The Old Appliance Club" - http://www.antiquestoves.com/toac/about.htm

I'll check them out. Thanks for the tip!

Got the original paperwork with it also. This stuff is so cool.

Aha! That's the one! On the second page with all the gadgets.

Does your wife know she has to wear heels when using that range? It's in the manual!!!! :)

LOL

Yeah I don't think that will happen.

Also seen another vintage range in someone's yard I'm gonna see if I can have it. It a double door with chrome latches.
