Siding and Color Combination - too busy?

Hi,

We are about to replace windows and siding and I'd like an opinion on whether our plans for the siding and color combinations are too busy. I think it generates good visual interest, but I'm not usually the less is more kinda gal.

I've got before pictures and I have some pics of the proposed pieces if you can visualize a bit.

Right now we have brick and board and batten siding. We will replace the second story board and batten with James Hardie lap board. We will make the gables board and batten and we will highlight a few small areas (bay window wall and garage) with the uneven shingle style.

As for color, we intend to use the James Hardie Aged Pewter for all the siding except for the gables, which will be Iron Grey. We will use Cobblestone for the trim. I believe we will match the doors (except for the front door which is stained), to the gable color.

The windows will be Marvin Ultimate alum clad in bronze. We are also replacing gutters and they will match the window bronze color.

See pics below - is the plan too much?
