Garbage disposal button that matches Delta Champagne Bronze?

Does anyone know of a garbage disposal button that matches Delta's champagne bronze?
I've been looking all day and I haven't found anything that I am sure matches.

I guess the buttons make sense on an island or if your switch couldn't be nearly behind the sink on a wall but you will have the drips on the counter either way except with a button there is now corners and crevices for grime to get into.

Personally me or my 5'2" wife don't have issues with drips down the arms. Our switch is about 1 foot above the counter nearly behind the sink.

An airswitch is also less dangerous with wet hands -- no worry about electrical shock since there is no direct link to electricity.

It's also less intrusive than a switch on a wall and much more useful than a switch inside a cabinet.

DCS...since the "color" of an item online is dependent on both your monitor and the photograph itself, you may have to see if you can find some in-person or order 2 or 3 that look close and return any that don't match.

I was just about to post an identical question. I just changed my electrical plan back to a wall switch because I couldn't find an air switch to match the champagne bronze. If you do find one, will you please post it?

Since my sink is in the island, a wall switch isn't really an option. If I didn't have kids, I would just mount a switch below the countertop. Worst case, I could mount the switch in a cabinet in the island....

Suzanne, some of those do look close. Reading through the comments on them, it seems that one is really close, but it needs some sanding to get closer. I was also hoping to find one that was metal.

if I happen upon something, I will be sure to post it.

You could get a batch feed disposal instead which needs no switch at all. It is operated by the drain stopper. Push down on the stopper, disposal turns on. Pull stopper out, disposal turns off. Also safer - cannot be operated unless the stopper is on.

Insinkerator and Waste King both make batch feed disposals. I'll link below. They are both very good. I have the Waste King 9900TC batch feed and am very pleased. It has a bigger chamber than the Insinkerator which I prefer. Other people like the Insinkerator. In any case, neither of these models requires a switch in your counter or wall.

friedajune, let me guess...the batchfeed ones do not have sink drain flanges or stoppers that match champagne bronze...

Waste King does not have color options for flange and stopper. The Waste King disposal flange is stainless steel, and the stopper is hard black plastic.

Insinkerator though does offer options for both in "french gold".

Actually, I think it looks much better for the flange to match the sink color, rather than be a glaring circle of a different color in your sink. I.e., stainless flange if the sink is stainless, not a gold flange in a stainless sink. However, an air switch sitting on your counter will be much more noticeable if it does not match the faucet.

We often hear of sink flanges in designer colors (i.e. not stainless steel) chipping with use--not just disposal flanges, but other kitchen and bathroom flanges. All these colored flanges achieve the color via a coating which can be prone to chipping/scratching.

Friedajune is right, the designer finishes often have to be babied b/c you cannot user any abrasives (like Barkeeper's Friend or even Soft Scrub), chemicals or, in some cases, acidic foods. While you might be able to baby a seldom used sink, I don't think the same can be said for a Kitchen sink.

I strongly suggest you stick with stainless steel or chrome.

Oh, and I also agree that if you have a stainless steel sink it would be better to match the sink that to match your faucet.

BTW...I discovered that even attempting to baby a Powder Room sink wasn't successful. I have brushed nickel for both the fixtures and drain in my Powder Room, and the drain looks like it's 100 years old -- I think someone poured bleach in the sink or else they used an abrasive cleaner when cleaning. Regardless, it is not pretty and I'm planning to replace it soon with brushed stainless steel.

I have never considered anything but silver toned faucets until recently. Now I am leaning toward a Kohler Karbon faucet in vibrant brushed bronze with a white farmhouse sink. Shouldn't the sink flange, drain thingy match the faucet? Doesn't Kohler make them out of the same material? I went on their website and got confused. Does anyone know?

DCS, I'm having the exact same problem and I'm wondering if you ever found a solution? My sink is in the island, so I'd really like a button but I can't seem to find one that matches Delta's champagne bronze.

May not be convenient for everyone, but I put the switch in the cabinet below the sink. I don't run the disposer often enough that's is a huge burden to open the door, and it's one less thing on the island countertop to have to clean around.

This is not my photo, but I put mine very similar to this photo (except I don't have a farmhouse sink.) I LOVE where my air switch is; much better than another hole drilled into my counter top. Also, I used Delta champagne bronze and it matches great!

Lauren0319, please, which brand and color air switch did you use, which matches the Delta finish so well?? This is what everyone wants to know.

(I also think that location on the face of the cabinet would be ideal).

That front of the cabinet switch location would scare the heck out of me if I had young kids. I would be worried a child would push the cool button while I was battling my measuring spoon stuck in the disposal (mine always end up in there).

Although I have a wall switch now, I will get batch feed for my next disposal. No rubber flange that gets gross and falls in the chamber and no worries about accidentally sticking my hand in while it's running (the new ones are too dang quiet).

Meh, my kids are 6 and 8 and they've never touched it. I did show them what it did and showed they why they shouldn't touch it and it's never been an issue.

My faucet is Trinsic by Delta in champagne bronze. I can't find what my air switch is.... as I google online, maybe French Gold? But it doesn't totally matter because you really don't see it. It's not right next to my faucet. I can take a pic of mine and post later. It looks great!

Yeah I have total garbage disposal phobias I know. The older I get, the crazier. You should see me driving on a bridge.

Lauren0319 please tell us what switch you have - I would love to see a picture too! This is one of my last decisions... :)

Here is mine! Pretty sure it's French Gold.

I ordered the French gold , gave it a light brush with sand paper and it’s a perfect match to the delta champagne bronze faucet .

This one in the Brushed Bronze color is a perfect match to the Delta Champagne Bronze.

Also trying to find a disposal button to match Delta Champagne Bronze kitchen faucet. Has anyone tried the Northstar Decor on Amazon in the Champagne Bronze? Didn't know if it would match better than the Brushed Bronze.

Ummmmm... did you look up ONE post? Not sure how you get any better than perfect match.

    KBond97,

Does it match Delta Champagne Bronze?

Does anyone have a current link to one that matches the Delta champagne bronze? The links above don't sell them anymore in the color. Thank you!

How about an air switch match for Brizo Luxe Gold? Did anyone have any luck matching it?

I am having trouble finding the Northstar air switches in either champagne or brushed bronze. Anyone had luck recently?

The Northstar Decor one is out of stock :(

Okay, just got the two garbage disposal buttons that I ordered on Amazon to match my gold Delta kitchen faucet ( champagne bronze). The first one - they sent the wrong color ♀️. The second one I think is going to work great! Almost a perfect match, its a little two toned , but I think will still look good. ( And Im picky;) I wanted to take the time to share, because like for many - it wasn’t easy to find or be sure of ! Took pics in natural & under lights Hope this helps:)

    Thank you, tonkin101!

All companies, it seems, comes through Amazon. None of the above recommendations are available. It's very frustrating.

    Hi Tonkin101,

Thanks so much for your helpful pictures.

So just making sure, the faucet is the Delta Trinsic in Champagne Bronze, and the Disposal Button that matches it is the Sinkingdom Air Switch in Champagne Bronze.

    Correct?

    Hi Maralo and Tonkin101,

I am wondering the same thing! I will probaby buy the Sinkingdom just in case it goes out of stock but would love to get a confirmation on this one :)

Good Evening, Thanks to DCS who originally posed the question (3 years) ago, I ended up taking a risk and purchased the SINKINGDOM Garbage Disposal SinkTop Air Switch Kit with Long Button, Brass Made Cover, Champagne Bronze from Amazon last month after I went down the Rabbit's Whole with a google search for the Northstar Decor Air switch in their Champagne Bronze Finished with lead me to Walmart who advertises the Northstar Decor Air Switch BUT I wasn't able to order the Champaign Bronze finish in particular. So, I crossed my fingers while I waited on the SINKINGDOM order from Amazon. Then, I did a comparison and went back to my Fabricator to schedule an appointment for two additional holes cut into my new pre-installed stone countertops. When the Fabricator arrived, we played around with the distance between my Delta Champaign Bronze Faucet and decided it would be best to try and space the two holes as far apart as possible (9" on both sides) of my faucet which was already centered in the middle of my (30" wide) oblong sink. As soon as the Fabricator left, I cleaned up and setup a dress rehearsal! I know the Champaign Bronze finishes aren't exactly the same but please let me know if you think the color/finish/tone of the Air Switch is worth some experimental touching up?

This may be too late for anyone who has already posted... but here is my public service announcement! I have succesfully installed a Newport Brass air switch in Satin Brass next to my Delta Trinsic Faucet in Champagne Bronze. It is so unrecognizable that I forgot I had done it and went looking for the delta switch (for another house remodel bc I love it so much) until it led me here which led me to digging through my emails until I found the original receipt- Hallelujah! https://www.build.com/newport-brass-111/s57086?uid=2467146

Morning Anna, I just compared the DELTA Facet against your Newport Brass in the Satin Brass finish with my SINKINGDOM Champagne Bronze. I still prefer the warmer tone of the SINKINGDOM Champagne Bronze Garbage Disposal finish, quality and price Air

Has any one been able to find a filtered cold water dispenser that matches?

Reviving this old thread since it still comes up in searches. Insinkerator has a helpful pdf for matching their finishes with other brands. Their Brushed Bronze finish is suggested to coordinate with Delta's Champagne Bronze.

Insinkerator Instant Hot Water Dispenser Finish Matching Guide

Also, Delta now has it's own air switch in coordinating finishes.
