Our clients of nearly 10 years asked us to update their living and dining room. By opening up the small archway to the dining room, we created an L-shaped space to allow for a bigger dining room table. The beautiful custom cabinetry that runs along the back wall provides much needed storage space (including a built-in wine rack) and the custom window bench provides additional seating and extra storage underneath. The old stone fireplace was replaced with a gas insert and tiled with 24x48 inch onyx inspired porcelain tiles for a seamless and modern look. The photo display is the husband's Instagram photos enlarged and framed to create a gallery wall. The mid century inspired marble coffee and side tables together with the gold accents (mirror, chandelier, console, floor lamp and frames) give the rooms originality and glamour while the commissioned black and white abstract artwork make the space young and vibrant.
