With this tile color, those countertops and white cabinets the home would be looking beautiful. The countertop is very nice is it marble??

yes, it would look nice. if you will be buying it, make sure when it's cut that you have final say so and sign off on it. the biggest problems w/these slabs is incorrect match-up of the veining.

@Beth you are so right. It's called "book matching" the guys at Verona really helped and showed me the benefits of Quartz vs other natural stone.

looks good Jennifer. just wanted to make sure you're aware of how it's to be cut. a lot of people come on this site w/disasters because their fabricators didn't cut it properly. make sure you sign off before they cut it.

as for the tiles, I like it, but you should wait until this is installed before choosing. Sometimes real stone against 'fake' stone can look a bit off. Lighting in your kitchen will also play a big role. so get some samples ready and wait until countertop is in.

I agree, one of the most important parts of this whole project is the labor part.. I mean you have a good eye and the product looks amazing but if they don't know how to work with the stone this can be a disaster....

You guys are on point. The fabrictor just called me actually and I spoke to him and he showed me a lot of his recent projects and they look amazing. He works well with quartz.

On another note he wants me to finalize on the counter top product what should I do??

well do you want this countertop? make sure you have everything you need in writing. make sure you know ahead of time where the cuts are going to be made. and also make sure that they will be cutting the EXACT slab that you pick out. you can't imagine how many people come on here to complain about the slab they pick doesn't actually get used. You sign off on your slab, where the template on the slab is going, and how it's getting cut and seamed.

Yea they mentioned to me that I can pick the slabs I wanted even though they're quartz.

What's seems to be on my mind is if Verona Quartz products are actually better then other quartz brands..

I've had Quartz a few years back in my kitchen and believe me it wasn't much different from granite.

I work with Verona Quartz Directly, I'm a certified fabricator.

i have worked with a dozen quartz brands, i have not had a more satisfying time working on any other brand vs. verona. They do it best in my opinion

The product is amazing, the look is very natural and the pricing is competitive in today's market.

I put the calacatta statuario from verona quartz in my own home.

I don't think any quartz brand is any better, quality wise, than any other. I would get whichever one had the pattern I liked. And if the pattern is one that has movement, like the one above, you absolutely should see and approve the slab. My fabricator requires slab approval on all patterns like this.

If the lighter material is the counter top and the darker grey is the flooring, I think it will look beautiful. They won't be right next to each other so should compliment nicely.

Oy. Quartz has never been called a "natural stone", that I have heard. It IS a manufactured composite. Please don't call it "natural". It ain't. (And I say that as someone that is getting counters made of it!)

Alex Shishkova Countertops are not made of the quartz mineral. They are made of engineered quartz. And THAT is not natural stone. It is 93%, but it is NOT a natural stone counter. Countertops of granite, marble, and quartzite are natural stone counters.

It's made of 90 to 94 percent ground quartz (Not Engineered) and the rest is resin no?

The slab product is called "engineered" or "manufactured" quartz. And the slabs that you see in the shops were not carved from the earth. They were created in a manufacturing process. It's really confusing to people and very misleading to call these products a natural stone.
