Need help w/Dining Room

Moved into our home 3 years ago and are finally ready to address the dining room. What would you do? The buffet and artwork need to stay. Although we don't use the room much ,it is a nice space that opens up to an outdoor sitting area.
Should we paint?
Replace Chairs?
Replace Table?
The original owners installed white plantation shutters. They made the room took dark so we removed them. Thank you!
