Shaker style doors do not have raised panels or any carved molding.

It looks to me like a more expensive door !!! So check there's no price difference due too ! Good luck with everything !!!

Nope! Not a shaker door style; I agree with onthefence, just have them replace the doors.

Sometimes the drawer will also have the molding around it, depending on the size of the drawer, but usually it is a slab style. Also sometimes there will be a small bead around the inside of the molding on the doors.

I talk to the sales rep yesterday and he said he can't change the doors because everything is custom made and will have to do the entire thing. So I guess I am staying with them.

If its custom made, then ask for a trip around the factory ! I think it's more likely to be an import door ! As Nancy says - smells of BS !!!

Adriana - is this the door you selected? If this was custom, you would have had to approve the door somewhere in the process.

When we went to pick the kitchen cabinets we selected this door but later next week we gave them a call and told them we change our mind and selected the shaker door. So when I call he said he didn't remember that phone conversation. So basically he forgot it. I just gave him a call again and he says he will try to see what he can do. This insurance claim is just taking forever and there is always something wrong. Plus there are tons of things to fix since it got flooded. The first time the floor was wrong. House got flooded in January and actually today we just move to a hotel since the apartment lease is over and they is already rented for next month.

Fight it its his mistake.
