With the exception of the corner and two cabinets, I have all drawers on the bottom. I love them.

If you're willing to give up the counter space, they look as though they would be a good place to store spices, pot holders & small items that get lost in big drawers.

Do you want the tops of your cabinets at the same height around the room?

There is a 10” difference between this cabinet and the one with two drawers. Add that to your 5’5” frame. Too high for you?

I used them (well, I hacked Akurum to have them before they were an option) but my cabinets came to my counters. I loved them, but I'm not sure they would really work with standard uppers that are 18" above the counter.
