If it's made from a woven cotton fiber? it will be hard to keep clean.

It is not cotton, it is an indoor/outdoor rug form Dash & Albert. Heard many, many great reviews and hoping it's all it's cracked up to be!

The colors are nice, but it does look like it could be more colorful if you wanted that. Here are a few of the rugs we have added in our designs to give you an idea.

I agree the rug may be a little large for space.

I love blue and white in the kitchen.

I feel like it is good but not best. I would go with something that coordinates a bit more with your backsplash and countertop(s) more...but that's just me. Something with colors similar to this one:

(granted this price tag is outrageous but I think the color scheme, pattern and hues would play well with your backsplash, countertop(s), floors and window shade.)

Yes the flor tiles are washable. You can rinse them in the sink and leave in the sun to dry. Very practical for a kitchen.

Not a fan of rugs on the kitchen floor

I think maybe it would be easier to go with a flat color that matches the countertops, like in this photo. The one in this photo may stand out as too dark against the wall tile or match well with the wall paint on the rest of the house (I noticed in the 2nd photo it appears you have a similar one in the background, through the doorway)

Ew. Don't like rugs in a kitchen or bath. They are germ trappers. I've always had wood floors in my kitchen and they are a snap to keep clean. "Drips" are easily wiped up. Don't like the look of the rug either. Sorry.

No rugs in a kitchen. It's a trend that makes no sense. It's not good for safety or sanitation.

I love rugs that cover the sink to dishwasher drip zone. The rug looks great. It feels like it has the right tone for your kitchen.

Dash & Albert indoor/outdoor rugs are workhorses in the kitchen & bath- I've had their runners in my kitchen forever. You can hose them outside if wine or tomato spills, they vacuum nicely & they are affordable so when you tire of the pattern you can try another. Get a rug pad for underneath- it will lay flat after a little wear.
