That's pest damage, imo. Look for tiny caterpillars or pinworms. Some of that might be some kind of leafminer as well.

If you have an active ecosystem in your garden, you will often find the damage but most of the actual pests themselves will have mysteriously disappeared due to various predators.

Personally, I like to cut off pest damage simply because it makes it easier for me to monitor if there's ongoing or additional pest damage. But if many of your leaves are affected, exercise judgment, as you don't want to strip too much foliage off the plant unless necessary.

That picture with the deficiencies is rather misleading. It's hard to draw things, pictures would have been much better. Manganese deficiency doesn't look like burned holes in the leaf, it's more a light interveinal chlorosis on new-ish growth.

So yeah, some sort of pest, or burns from wind/spraying/whatever.

After further investigation, I'm nearly certain that it's being caused by caterpillars. I did find a few but they are very elusive. I'm thinking they might be eating at night or early morning to beat the 95+ temperature, or as gorbelly said, they may disappear due to predators. Thank you for your help!
