I would think you could add a couple of 18" leaves if you had a huge dinner party. It might be tight, but not impossible. Otherwise, I would say 9 feet, if it were a fixed-top table. That depends, too, on whether you have any side tables, plants, etc. The rug would probably be within the inlaid area of your floor as it would be a shame to cover it up, and the table should be 4 feet shorter than that, centered, of course. And, with that size table, two chandeliers would be necessary.
