Ottomans for Family Room

I would appreciate ideas on ottomans for my family room. I just purchased the couch and leather chairs. I was hoping to use our current ottoman, but it's just too big for the room. While it is comfortable when sitting on the couch, it isn't practical. The leather chairs swivel to face the TV and it would be nice to have ottomans that could work for them. Should I go with 4 small ottomans that can be easily moved or a bench for the couch and 2 small ottomans for the chairs? Or? What color/fabric? My style is traditional/french country.

I've attached a couple of pictures of the room, as well as a picture of an ottoman I'm considering.

It is way too large for your furnishings....

However, I'm confused as it seems you are looking for a coffee table?? Yet, you have this large ottoman and then say, "Should I go with 4 small ottomans that can be easily moved or a bench for the couch and 2 small ottomans for the chairs? Or? What color/fabric? My style is traditional/french country".

My thought from this post is you are seeking something to replace the large ottoman which appears to serve as a coffee table. I'd go with two of the pieces like you've shown if that's the case or round nesting tables since the furnishings are all more square.

mocreidhl- Thanks. I have been looking for a rug but don't want to overwhelm the room with patterns--the pillows match valances on the windows which can't be changed. The leather chairs need ottomans for watching tv comfortably. Appreciate any thoughts.

You may find footstools more useful than ottomans. Footstools are smaller and a bit lower.

Porter Edun--Yes I want ottomans, just different ones. This is primarily a TV space, so I want it to be comfortable. Everyone in my family likes to put their feet up! I like the idea of something round. I am hoping to find a configuration that could be easily moved when the leather chairs are turned toward the tv.

mocreidhl--You're right a sisal rug would be perfect. I like the idea of ticking stripe since it works well with my other fabrics. The way you've placed those other ottomans is great and would work well for tv viewing. The round table is pretty, but my husband prefers an ottoman to put his feet up. Have you seen a round ottoman in ticking? Pottery Barn only has rectangles. Any other place I should look?

I'd do three with a little space between them as long as there is enough room and it's no over crowded.

The two bottom ones come with storage as shown or without. Numerous color choices, but I selected the fabric shown to post.

The first one is from Shadesoflight.com.... I thought the black stripes would look pretty in the room as well. Appears on the couch you have some black patterned pillows and behind some decor with black tones. The bottom one has some black striping in it.

They are all very nice.

Porter Edun--I had checked out the one from Shades of Flight--I love it--exactly my style. It's navy and you're right I do have black accents. Thanks for the Ballard link--Google search wasn't finding the image. The fabric on the couch pillows is actually from Ballard. I love that site. I have to measure to see if 3 would work.
