Love my Blue Hawaii which is about 5 years old. I ordered from Green Mountain last year and got very large healthy plants. They are a good mail order source. I got Lakeside Cupcake last year--it's a cute small hosta. You will like both of them!

I bought Blue Hawaii at Kroger for 9.99 for a huge pot. They were clearing out their hostas.

Don, it is completely unfair that your grocery store should have hostas! I really wanted a larger plant to fill a space faster, but this is what I could get here. Next year, maybe I'll fly to Ohio and go "grocery" shopping!

Popmama, like Dick, I too have found end of season sales at grocery stores. That is how I came to own my 'June' and 'Golden Tiara' - each under $7 late in the season back in 2009. I actually think I forgot to pick up what sent me to the store in the first place, lol....the hostas were at the outside entrance of the store and the first thing I saw! Too excited about the find and the price! Keep your eyes open, Popmama for you never know what you can find in grocery stores ;-).

I managed to plant Blue Hawaii tonight. I moved Loyalist to the spot where Victory was. I'm probably going to give up Victory. I still have to find a place for Tokudama, my Blue Mouse Ears, and Lakeside Cupcake. I wandered around my garden for about 30 minutes pondering where those were going to go.
