Roman Shades

My husband and I are building a new house and plan to install roman shades throughout the house in lieu of blinds. We have a modern farmhouse style with a nice blend of old and new. Should I use the same fabric on the shades throughout all rooms? The photo below is from our previous house, but illustrates our style preferences. Thank you in advance for tips, advice, etc.!

I like roman shades and have made many in my career . I would perhaps change colors to go with bedrooms. All the same could be boring.

Congratulations on your new home! With Roman shades, I might do the same in the rooms that open up to each other. If the shades are in different rooms, you can choose other fabrics. Another option are the woven wood roman shades. They bring in texture and light filtering. You can get woven woods lined for privacy too.
