    The back splash is a split faced limestone. It is available from may different sources in many sizes and colors. Arizona Tile has a very extensive range of options. This one is a 1" x 3"' but many sizes are available.

      The receptacles are commercial pop up duplexes like those used in laboratories. They are recessed in the counter top.

      In this particular project the ventilation hood is a peninsula hood, one that would normally be installed over an island. It is finished on all four sides therefore is installed away from the wall and the whole wall is stone. The range and adjacent cabinets are pulled forward. The entire wall is stone because it repeats the stone wall in the entry stairwell.
