Hello friends - we have a small guest house bathroom we are updating. We will be pulling out this fiberglass tub/shower combo and increasing the size and doing a walk in shower.

The dimensions will be as follows:
60x48x96 tall

Our contractor has suggested going curb less with a small pony wall w/set glass which will run along side the toilet. There will be no door.

We are having a hard time imagining how to transition from the saltillo tile we currently have on the floor (some of which will be demoed to where the shower starts) to the enclosure of the shower. We are drawn to cement tiles, and like a very organic neutral feel and want to do something that will compliment the saltillo. We want to go the modern route.

A combination of cement tiles with subway tiles?

It's a small space and very limited on natural lighting as we just have a small solar tube in this room.
