Love your fabric. There are lots of video tutorials out there and it is probably easier to watch the process rather than talk it through.

I stop 1/4" from corners leaving tails. Then I arrange my miter, press, turn over and stitch on the pressed line. I'm sure a u-tube video would make that more clear.

I always look at youtube videos before I do it, since I hardly ever do it and forget so easily.

I'd recommend going to Jinny Breyer, she is known for her border fabric and designs. Jenny byer working with borders

thanks for all the help and comments. I have it done - I'm happy with how it came out. I did watch some vids - found one by fons and porter (I think!) that helped a lot, along with all of your suggestions! Will post final results another day! Right now I'm feverishly making the backing - want to mail by Monday or Tuesday if at all possible.
