Both of these climbers were purchased as little 4x4 band pots from Heirloom Roses last fall before they changed over to all gallons (I couldn't resist a sale lol) and plopped in the ground about 5 weeks before first frost. I was a little concerned about how well they would do being so small but I knew they were both praised for being pretty vigorous so I took a chance. Yep, they were definitely not phased!

I have actually pruned this baby twice over the summer and removed quite a few canes I didn't like the placement of to try to enhance a climber look...still wants to be a shrub lol (the fence is 6ft tall for reference)

This one has proven a real "pain" to mow past haha
