They are looking good indeed! Many of mine are browning. The sun tilt giving them more sun and the extreme lack of rain is affecting them too.

I am trying to pay attention to which hosta look good the longest, so this is a great topic. Next year, I am going to start removing some of the ones that I only like for a couple weeks. I have way too many of them.

I got a little carried away acquiring new plants. I need to focus on quality not quantity.

I really love these hostas that give you the full season's worth of color! Especially since I have limited space ,I might add some of these hostas to my wish list! :-)

Many of my hostas have slug damage, I was gone for the month of July but these plants still are looking great even with the fall leaves on them.

I have quite a few that are holding nicely, despite barely a half-inch of rain all month. But I broke my hip, so I can only show you August Moon, nearby my front porch.

Everyone else - this is a great thread with lovely pictures, and is adding to my wishlist.... I consider this attribute (endurance - for lack of a better word) pretty desirable.

Lindalana - I sure wish my Cathedral Windows looked like yours. Mine is in full sun and it's huge, but really fried-looking. Maybe I can carve off a piece in the spring and find a shadier spot for it.
