What other colors do you have in home? In rooms that connect to kitchen? Usually you want some continuity, not exactly the same, just a good flow. How about a picture or two?

Galley kitchens have less problem with flow than they do with lighting affecting the color choice. Without being able to see what you mean, I would suggest first getting a paint chip that matches your cabinets, and then taking that to the store to choose a complementary wall color. Prime and paint a sample board to test the shade under your lighting conditions for accuracy. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion to paint a board. I would share pictures but we have just gutted our kitchen and the new cream colored cabinets are not in place yet, only drywall! Our dining room is the next room you walk into and is painted an off white.

Are there any colors that you're drawn to? I need a little more info if you don't mind

I really like earthy tones, deep browns taupe, etc.
