Hello, We like the look of all glass garage doors (with a steel frame and frosted windows). The Martin Athena one is what we are looking at (see pic below). We have heard acrylic is cheaper, and maybe more resistant to breaks. I am wondering if it would block uv light as well as glass, and if it is more or less insulating as glass. We are going to have bronze windows and a lighter shade of brown roof, so we are thinking of maybe matching the door to bronze of the windows or the lighter brown of the roof. Any suggestions? We are going with a cream stucco exterior, not sure of the fascia color yet.
