The faux brick fooled me, and frankly, the lightweight and rather poor quality of the bookcase units would bother me more than the faux stone. Take a photo without the ridiculous panoramic real estate view, please. Not sure I'd want the sea of white effect with the rustic mantel.

Well, to say that the bookcases are poor quality is a slight overstatement and personally, I like them. Great storage and display, with a bright and airy feel about them, sure you could change them if there's room for it in the budget but, for now, they do their job well.

My opinion is that if you go back to an Ivory brick this would provide a wonderful contrast against the Dark wood floors, Brown Furnishings and Mantle. So to create the illusion of a wider space.
