Question for Tide PurClean Users

Had a LOT of blood on hubs' down pillow, quilted pillow cover, and pillow case. Threw out pillow, soaked quilted cover and case in cool water and then washed in Tide PurClean, hot water, and Tide White/Bright pods. Washed a second time in Tide PC and warm water. Blood totally came out and everything very white again. My question is, would you have used LemiShine or Borax or something other than Tide White/Brigiht pods?

I doubt LemiShine or borax would have done the job as well.

The Tide boost pods are excellent. Reviewed just did a comparison with it next to OxiClean, and they beat it and LCB.

We often times have blood on our bed sheets due to bloody noses or the dog. The dog has lick granulomas that he insists on sharing with our bed sheets and comforters, despite not being allowed on our beds. I have used PurClean and STPP with hot water on the comforters and had no issues removing all of the blood. Yes, hot water and blood aren't a mix. But the PurClean worked its magic. White sheets and matress pads get Tide plus Bleach powder. Sheets aren't a problem and come clean, but the matress pads typically have some oxidized blood remaining.
