Sidelights to match front door color?

Having the front door of our 60’s ranch painted, and questioning whether to paint the sidelights to match the door.
Thoughts on the best look? Is it customary to do so?
I’ve attached the current entry photo with white door (and a few with amateur photoshopping )
The decorative trim around the door is quite wide.
