Time to Rake the Leaves!

last modified: 8 years ago

It's definitely fall when I see the lawn covered with leaves from the Pin Oak. It starts with a trickle of leaves and keeps increasing.

The deck has to be swept instead of raked.

But the colors are worth all the work. This has got to be my favorite fall season plant, Fothergilla.

This may become my favorite when it gets larger. This is a first year Disanthus cercidifolia, not yet in full color. But even it's summer color is a beautiful blue green, as can still be seen..
