I am in the process of remodeling. We just put hardwood floors down in den and painted the den a light golden color. It is a beautiful color. Problem: Someone suggested I paint my kitchen a dark chocolate; kaffe by sherwin williams, and I really loved the idea. I have a mudroom that is connected to the kitchen and then there's a wall between kitchen and den with double door area that opens into den. Therefore, you see mudroom, kitchen and den colors well. Like I said, den is a pretty soft gold. Should I paint my kitchen a chocolate and the mudroom chocolate? Or should I go with a different color all together? My floors are dark heart pine, kitchen cabinets white and counter tops are a creamy speckled white. Help! Thanks for your ideas.
