In your great idea books you have one photo identified (Regan Wood Photography) with your caption, "the feel of this room is what I want to capture." In order to do that you want your scale of pieces to relate to the strong graphics and patterns that are liberally used on the window treatments and the pillows. For now, I suggest you relocate the chairs to have their backs to the larger windows and facing the coffee table and sofa. The sofa, sofa table and chairs need to be placed 18" to 24" apart, and leave the open space behind the furniture clear. Next, the rug in your inspiration piece relates to the primary color of the sofa and the chairs...in your case the sofa and the background color of the chairs. Consider replacing your too yellow and white one for a gray background with a subtle pattern. Now, the drapery...such fun to have that beautiful pattern filled with lots of color and joy, however your chairs are fulfilling this role. So, a Moroccan trellis pattern for drapery would be a good consideration. Is this helping?

Lamps. You have no lamps. You need a sofa table behind the sofa with 2 lamps. End tables with lamps. Floor lamps. 5-6 lamps. With dimmers.

I know...this is where I got the palette from. I chose a darker sofa because I have lighter colored walls. Love your input and I'm quite excited about your suggestion. I intend to implement the suggestions and post and update

Maybe some nice fresh flowers, lamps, and artwork? Also some wooden blinds might work great.
