Bed Off Centered looking for opinions

My bed is off centered in my room due to limited space. If I move the bed over and the newly installed wall panels It leaves me with very little space and placement for a dresser. I plan to add more wall panels to give more hight behind the bed and get new furniture.

The wall length the bed is on is 12 feet with a bathroom door that opens out. I have 4 feet of space between bed and wall on onside and about 2.5 feet on side by windows.

My question is: Do you think the bed and wall panels look bad off centered?

Would you sacrifice the dresser to make the bed and panels centered?

Should I do 1 or 2 more rows high of wall panels?

Do you have any suggestions for new furniture?

I agree that removing the panels will help as they draw attention to the asymmetry, but if you want to keep them, consider adding a very narrow tall element to occupy that space beyond the panels so it doesn't look empty.

I think it's fine where it is because you have a door that needs clearance. The other side of the bed has enough clearance to get in and out of it. Really nice room. If you are thinking of a new bed frame, you might consider not getting a footboard. This will open up the traffic pattern a little more. Looks relaxing!

It looks fine.

The TV off center is what bugs me. Try moving the dresser so it is more under the TV.

The wall panels should go to the end; they are not part of the bed, but the wall. I don't mind the current height. Are you able to flip the dresser and TV for the mirrored armoire? That will allow for the TV to be centered.

Cute doggy & kitty!

I would remove the panels and keep the bed frame. The panels, & open area on the wall, emphasize it being off center.

It looks great without the headboard and frame. Now you have a beautiful upholstered, oversized headboard. your colors and textures create a very restful room. I like the new storage bench at the foot.
I wouldn't add any more panels. If you want more height, add crown molding to the room.

I’d remove the panels too. I don’t see the point, plus they emphasize the dis-symmetry.

The wallpanels and the headboard make no sense together IMO so I would remove the headboard it just calls attention to the fact the bed is not centered and if you do that you will not need anymore panels

The assymetry of bed and tv would drive me crazy. Could your budget allow for a sliding door like this one? I’d paint hardware silver to blend better with your room

as others suggested, remove panels, keep headboard or remove headboard/footboard and keep panels. Both is overkill. Personally, I’d remove head/footboards b/c your wall panels are very well made. And yes I’d add one more row. Not two b/c it would remind me of a mental ward cell with the cushioned panels (too much paneling)
