Hi everyone, I am looking to replace my windows and I'm very interested in having black frames. My contractor told me my only option is to have the vinyl window frames powdercoated black as all vinyl windows are white in their original form. My main concern is since these are gliding windows, would the coating eventually come off/scratched up with windows opening/closing as the sash glides around.

It would be great to hear from anyone with experience on black vinyl gliding windows.
