I have seen good Kentias at California Greenhouses (the one in Irvine). They have a facility in Torrance also. Can't tell you prices--haven't bought a Kentia there. Their succulents are pricey but the houseplants and palms were reasonable. You could give them a call. They are wholesale but sell retail also.

You might check your local Craigs list. People moving sometimes list potted plants,or something in ground they don't want- but don't want to kill either.

Moon valley nurseries sells them. I had a client that just bought one from them.. actually don’t recommend them for SoCal. They have decently high fail rate.. of course a supplier will tell u differently but from experience i have seen quite a few fail out here.

Thanks everyone's for your responses. We absolutely love the look of them, but Red Berm- you don't recommend Kentia palms for socal? First I've heard of that, I'll have to do some research. What do you recommend in place of them? Thanks!

They thrive in sou cal. They are one of the standards down there. Have been for over a century.

Maybe berm means the hottest inland areas.

Yes they've been grown here in houses, hotels, resorts, etc. forever that's why I was curious as to what berm meant. He may have meant outside.
