Ok, I am driving myself crazy trying to pick out a range hood. I like the looks of most of them and am really trying to go for one that will perform well without sounding like an airplane is landing in my kitchen. For name brands, I’m looking at Kitchen Aid, Kobe, Kenmore & GE Profile, but there are a ton of much cheaper options out there like Akdy, Cavaliere, Proline, etc. Is there really a difference or are you just paying for the brand name? If there is a difference in quality or noise level, which of the name brands do you like best? It’s really hard to find reviews for these things!
